Yes, all of our pots have been tested in Australian conditions and are suitable for use outdoors and out.

  • How do I install plants indoors?

Pots to be used indoors should be purchased without drainage holes. The plant can then be sat inside the pot in its nursery container.

  • How do I install plants outdoors

Install some drainage medium as the base of the pots such as bluemetal or gravel. Fill with free draining potting mix and lightly compact as you go. It is best practice to install the new potting mix soil to the same level as the soil in the nursery pot so as not to cover the trunk. Ferterlise and give the new plant a drink of water. You may then need to add some additional soil as it settles in. Top with a decorative gravel or mulch.

  • What soil to I use

We recommend free draining planter box mix as it will hold enough moisture for the plant to thrive without becoming waterlogged. Do not use garden soil.

  • How do I stop water leaking out the base of outdoor pots?

Try to water them less. If the water is draining out of the base they are being overwatered.

  • How many bags of potting mix do I need?

Check out our approximate guide to potting mix based on a 25L bag of free draining planter box mix. Do not use garden soil.
